Bobby Lewis is the Sports Reporter for Fox 15 in Lafayette. This is his first on-air job in TV. He’s been with the station since September 2008 and, so far, is enjoying covering all of the sports Acadiana has to offer, especially the Ragin Cajuns.

In addition to his sports reporting duties for Fox, Bobby produces, directs and reports for all of the UL Coaches Shows that air on our sister station, My KLAF TV.

Originally from sunny Clearwater, Fla., Bobby comes to KADN from Tampa, where he attended the University of South Florida. In college Bobby co-hosted a weekly 1-hour sports talk show on the radio and worked at WFTS, the local ABC affiliate, as a sports producer. During his time in Tampa, Bobby helped cover Super Bowls, Stanley Cup Finals, college bowl games and Major League Baseball. His favorite sports teams are the USF Bulls, Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic and Miami Dolphins.

Away from work, Bobby really likes playing sports as well. He loves baseball and is a good basketball player. Recently he tried rock climbing and loves that too.

Bobby is engaged to be married on July 4th to his fiancée, Juslin Jowett. Bobby loves his family. He talks to his mom and dad all the time and has two younger siblings, Steven and Valerie. No pets for Bobby but he has a feeling that might change once he gets married this summer.
