BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is currently working a shooting at the 2100 block of Choctaw Road near Scenic Hwy.

EMS confirms that one person was transported to a local hospital.

BRPD confirms that the victim is a pregnant female. She was shot on Bay Street but was located in her vehicle on 2100 block of Choctaw Road near Scenic Hwy.
