Syracuse jumps to No. 10 in AP poll; KU still No. 1
Kansas remains the runaway No. 1 in The Associated Press' college basketball poll while Syracuse makes the jump from unranked to No. 10.
The Jayhawks were on top of 56 of the 65 ballots by the national media panel. Michigan State and Texas stayed second and third. Michigan State was No. 1 on seven ballots, with Texas and Syracuse drawing one-first-place vote each.
Villanova and Kentucky switched places at fourth and fifth. Purdue moved up a spot to sixth and Duke went up two to seventh.
