The 12-player all-tournament team, which was announced at the conclusion of the WCWS, featured five members from the champions Arizona State, two players from runner-up Texas A&M, as well as, top-seed Florida. Louisiana, Alabama and Virginia Tech each placed one player on the team.

The All-American outfielder belted two home runs during the Ragin’ Cajuns three games at the WCWS including an extra-inning bomb to straight away centerfield to lift the Cajuns to a 3-2 victory over No. 1 Florida.
