Vanessa Soto had a great career as a member of the LSU softball team, but before her senior season, she transferred and became a Ragin' Cajun. Now, she could play against her former squad.

The Ragin' Cajuns face East Carolina and the Lady Tigers take on Mississippi Valley State in the opening round Friday in Baton Rouge. The winners will play eachother Saturday. Whoever emerges from the double-elimination NCAA regional moves into super regional action.
