Ragin' Cajun baseball coach Tony Robichaux "proud" of his team
Coach Robichaux proud of his players who have completed their careers as Ragin' Cajun baseball players
Lafayette, La. (KADN) — A final look back at Louisiana's Ragin Cajun baseball team that ended one game short of their goal of making the college world series, but it was an incredible year that all are very proud of. In 29 years of coaching, head man Tony Robichaux said this was his most special team that he was very very proud of, a team that gave up a lot and sacrificed even more and it all paid off in a super year.
The coach saw his team grow during the season not only as players but also grow as men. Here's his final message to that special team. Since last monday's final game against Ole Miss, the Ragin Cajuns have had a record number 7 players sign professional baseball contracts with major league teams. This was an exceptional group of young men led by an exceptional group of coaches. Thank you UL baseball for an unforgetable season!
