The former UL quarterback will be playing a different position if he makes it to the next level
Michael Desormeaux did plenty of running during his four years at UL. Today, Desormeaux did more running than anybody.
Last seasons' superstar quarterback will not play under center in the NFL. Scouts don't like his size at the next level to call the signals. What they do like is his versatility....and that showed today.
Desormeaux ran the 40-yard dash and did shuttle drills like everyone else. He also ran receiver drills, cornerback drills, safety drills and kick return drills...like no one else.
Desormeaux has gotten the "athlete" stamp from NFL scouts, meaning they don't know where he would fit in on a pro
roster. His agility was crisp during defensive back drills and his times were respectable in the 40-yard dash.
After this workout, Desormeaux wasn't overly thrilled with his performance, but looks forward to the future.
