ULM product Steve Foley has settled a lawsuit with a police officer that shot him two years ago -- and effectively ended his pro football career.

Terms weren't revealed, but the former Chargers linebacker was looking for millions of dollars in damages to make up for lost earnings.

Foley was shot in the leg, hip and hand after the officer followed his car home on suspicion of drunk driving in 2006. Foley pled guilty to misdemeanor drunken driving charges.
