James Posey was the Celtics' top player off the bench during their world championship run. Now, the Hornets are hoping he'll make the move from Beantown to the Big Easy.
Posey's agent has reportedly been in talks with the Hornets.
The 6'8" forward from Xavier (Ohio) is a free agent, and changing teams wouldn't be anything new for him. Posey has been a bit of a journeyman, playing for the Nuggets, Rockets, Grizzlies and Heat before joining the Celtics prior to this season.
He averaged seven points and four rebounds in the 2007-08 campaign.
