Hornets guard Chris Paul will reportedly be named to the United States Olympic basketball team. An official announcement is expected Monday.

He’ll be one of 12 NBA superstars going for the gold on Team USA in Beijing.

This will be CP3’s Olympic debut -- but he did represent the country in the 2006 FIBA world championships in Japan -- where the United States won bronze.

The full roster will be released next week, but names continue to be leaked. Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony, Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd, and
Heat guard Dwyane Wade are also reportedly heading to Beijing.
