Four hunters nabbed a giant alligator in Mississippi and lived to tell the tale.
This gator weighed almost 700 pounds (697 and a half, to be exact), forming a new record in its state.

It was a pretty dangerous record to achieve from a boat. The hunters say it took two hours from the time they hooked the gator until the final gunshot,
then it took another two-and-a-half hours to wrestle it ashore.
