3 found dead in apparent murder-suicide

A family of 3 was found shot to death in Rayne. Police are calling it a murder-suicide. Authorities say a husband, wife and their 9-year-old daughter were found in their house Sunday afternoon.

Tangipahoa man faces murder charge

A a tangipahoa parish man is facing a murder charge in the shooting death of his father 12 years ago. Investigators say 39-year-old Eugene Pravata shot his father to death in November of 1998.
