Woman charged with murder after stabbing man to death during domestic dispute
CROWLEY, LA — A woman is charged with murder after she allegedly stabbed a man to death during a domestic dispute.
The Crowley Police Department reports that the incident occurred on Sunday, June 23 at roughly 3:00 p.m. When officers arrived to the home on Westwood Drive, they found the victim, Joseph Smith, lying on the ground, suffering from stab wounds.
“The officers discovered that the victim had a faint pulse and began CPR, however the victim died on the scene” Chief KP Gibson said.
Investigators learned that the suspect, Ericka Soloman, 26, stabbed Smith during a domestic dispute. She was arrested and charged with Second-Degree Murder. She was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
