WANTED: Three men accused of stealing $1m of copper wire

Three men are wanted for allegedly stealing $1 million worth of copper wire from a drilling company. Officials say they managed to get away with the crime 6 times already.

The DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify the men. The wire was taken from Trinidad Drilling Company on Park Drive in Fierson, La.

At the time of the two most recent thefts (April 30, 2013 at about 12:20 am and May 26, 2013 at 10:38 pm) they were driving what investigators believe may be a silver in color Toyota Tacoma PreRunner 2nd Generation, year model between 2005-Present. The pickup truck is believed to be missing a front left (driver) side wheel center cap.

The first suspect is a white male, 5’8” to 5”11” in height with a stocky build and short hair. He may be the owner and/or operator of the suspect vehicle.

Suspect two is identified as a white male, 5’6” to 5’8” with a thin build. In multiple surveillance videos, he is always wearing a Texas Longhorns baseball cap.

The third suspect, possibly a Hispanic male, is estimated to be 5’8” to 5’10” in height with a stocky build and short hair.
