Vilma files motion to have suspension overturned
New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma says he will be back for Sunday's game against the Bucs and he has filed a motion against the NFL in court to make sure that happens.
Vilma was sidelined because of his alleged involvement in the bountygate scandal
not to mention he was on the physically unable to perform list because of a nagging knee injury.
Now he says he can play.
This is easier said than done considering league commissioner Roger Goodell reaffirmed Vilma's season long ban just last week.
So today Vilma filed a motion with the league to have Goodell's suspension vacated.
