Victory Parade for Acadiana High School

A victory parade is scheduled to celebrate Acadiana High School’s recent State Championship win, on Sunday January 5, 2014. The parade will be from 1-3 p.m. in Scott.

The parade will feature the football team, coaches, band, and cheerleaders.

The procession of cars and floats will begin at Acadiana High School and end at Scott City Hall. Chief of Scott Police Chad Leger says the parade will take Rue De Belier to Dulles Drive, then turn left at onto Westgate Road.

It will make another left onto Highway 90 by the CVS, turn right onto St. Mary Street by the Chase Bank, then onto St. Mary to Lions Club Road, ending the Scott City Hall and Emergency Services Building.

The Scott Police Department urges residents to participate in the event to show support for Acadiana High School.

A special presentation will be held at Scott City Hall and will feature food, drinks, and music.
