LAFAYETTE, LA (NBC33) —  Brandon Scott Lavergne has pled guilty to two counts of First-Degree Murder in the deaths of Mickey Shunick and Lisa Pate.

Lavergne pled guilty to all charges in exchange for life in prison.

The case will not go to trial.
