UL head football coach Mark Hudspeth makes special appearance at Arc of Acadiana's annual banquet
Giving back to the community, and persevering through obstacles
LAFAYETE (KADN) — Arc of Acadiana employees, board of directors, members and clients along with special guest, Coach Mark Hudspeth, came together today to celebrate the last year of Arc of Acadiana. Many things happened over the last year including their new headquarters on US 90 in New Iberia, and the new health clinic facility in Lafayette.
"One of the main things that he's going to talk about is perseverance and being a part of a community and never giving up, and Arc of Acadiana perseveres and we never give up on the people we serve," says Cindy Leleux, chief operations officer for Arc of Acadiana.
"I think any time that you have people wanting to give back to the community is very important, and you have so many people here that want to give back and make our community stronger. Any time you do that you have something really special, and I'm glad to be a part of it," says Mark Hudspeth, UL head football coach.
The banquet serves as a chance to discuss Arc of Acadiana's plan throughout the six-parish territory for this coming year in terms of facility improvements and new programs and options for clients.
