THERE HAS BEEN MUCH RESEARCH AND HAS BEEN PROVEN....ANIMAL THERAPY WORKS! A SLOWLY EVOLVING FORM OF TREATMENT, ANIMAL THERAPY IS USED IN ALL THE AREA HOSPITAL'S AND ACROSS THE NATION TO HELP PATIENTS HEAL FASTER. AND NOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME, UL LAFAYETTE STUDENTS HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SHOT OF ANIMAL THERAPY. OVER ON THE CAMPUS, IT'S FINAL'S WEEK AND FOR MOST STUDENTS THIS IS A VERY STRESSFUL TIME AS THEY CRAM FOR FINAL TESTS TO DETERMINE THEIR GRADES FOR THE SEMESTER. YESTERDAY AT DUPRE LIBRARY THE STUDENTS ENJOYED THE VISIT FROM THE DOG'S AND THE CHANCE TO RELAX AND GET THAT CALMING EFFECT FROM ANIMAL THERAPY.

TO HELP RELIEVE STRESS WHETHER IT'S BRINGING ANIMALS TO HOSPITALS, HOMES OR EVEN THE UL CAMPUS. FOR ANIMAL THERAPY ASSISTANCE IN THE ACADIANA AREA IT'S THE VOLUNTEER GROUP CALLED PETS FOR HEALTH OR YOU CAN GO ONLINE AT WWW.PetsForHealth.com FOR MORE INFORMATION.
