A Texas man with an alleged gambling addiction was arrested and booked in a Louisiana prison.

Harrison County authorities issued an alert seeking tips regarding the location of Lynn Dorsey Smith, 60. He’s accused of stealing objects, then pawning them.

Officials say Smith reportedly frequented several pawn shops in Bossier City and Shreveport back in July. They say he then frequented casinos in the area.

Officials did not provide information relative to the incident that lead to the charges. However, Smith is being charged with Felony Theft.

An anonymous caller and security spotted Smith at a casino in Shreveport and he was taken into custody. He was booked into the Bossier Parish Jail.
