Texas Brine officials say crews got to work this morning removing debris from giant sinkhole near Bayou Corne. 
 Officials say once the debris is gone they can use another machine to soak up oil and other liquids left over.

Clean up efforts began back in August but the company says they had to stop because of various safety concerns.
Assumption Parish officials are asking people to be aware that the diesel smell could temporarily get worse while crews clean up.
