Suspect sought for two daytime robberies in Lafayette

A suspect is wanted in connection with two daytime robberies in Lafayette.

In both incidents, the suspect entered the business with a white or light colored shirt covering his face and produced a handgun.

The suspect stole cash and fled the scene. The clerks were not injured in either case.

The first robbery occurred on Saturday, Dec. 7, at approximately 2:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Verot School Road. The other happened at about 3:45 p.m. in the 5700 block of Johnston Street.

At the time of the robberies, the suspect was wearing a Saints cap with a gold fleur-de-lis, a black jacket with white stripes along the sleeves, black pants, and a light colored shirt.
