Perrilloux Not On Field, Not Suspended

By Chris Mycoskie

On February 18th, LSU head football coach Les Miles indefinitely suspended quarterback Ryan Perrilloux for violating team rules. That suspension has now been lifted, although that doesn't mean Perrilloux is back at practice.

There was still no sign of Perrilloux on the field at the Charles McClendon Facility Wednesday as spring practice continued. Miles says Perrilloux is working towards getting his practicing and playing privileges back. So, he's not suspended anymore, but he's also not fully back on the team.

The East St. John product is expected to be back taking snaps at some point before the spring game, though. Andrew Hatch and Jarrett Lee have been sharing first string snaps at QB in the mean time.

As he tries to get back in the action, there are people keeping tabs on Perrilloux and reporting back to Miles.

"The things that I hear, most of which are very positive," Miles said. "So, I just want to make sure he's doing the work in the classroom and taking care of his business. If he does that, then I think we can see him this spring."
