St. Landry Sherieff's Office needs help locating missing Opelousas couple
OPELOUSAS, LA (KADN) — The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office needs your help in locating two missing persons: Sandra Tillett and Arthur Tillett of Opelousas.
The Sheriff’s Office was notified of Sandra Tillett’s disappearance when her daughter called, and said she had not spoken to her mother since June. Tillett’s daughter, who lives out of state, asked deputies to visit her mother’s house to check on Sandra, at 499 Carrington Place.
On Saturday, December 14 the Sheriff’s Office was finally able to make contact with Sandra’s husband, Arthur Tillett. Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena said Arthur Tillett lied to deputies when he was questioned about his wife’s whereabouts. Arthur Tillett went missing the next day on Sunday, December 15, and has thus been declared a ‘person of interest’ in the case.
Arthur Tillett is believed to be driving a white 1996 Honda Passport, with one door painted blue,and with Texas license plate ‘1CDRM.’
