A new, different restaurant unlike Lafayette has ever seen now opening it's doors to the public

Lafayette, LA (KADN) — Social Southern Table & Bar is the newest concept from Southern Hospitality Kitchens, LLC.  The proprietors of Charley G's restaurant.  With owners like Joey Ferguson, Charley Goodson, and Marc Krampe this new style of restaurant is sure to be a hit in the city.  Social is a one-of-a-kind "Speak-eatery" in central Lafayette.

"We felt there was a void in this particular market.  We have some great restaurants in town, we have some great bars in town.  We're trying to marry the two and a kind of chef-driven bar," says Charley Goodson, part owner of Social and owner of locally famous Charley G's.

"When I think of food I think of hanging out with all of my friends in the kitchen talking, sharing, and that's what this place is about.  It's a place to come share experiences, food, drink and just have a great time," says Marc Krampe, part owner and head chef of Social.

"It's going to provide Lafayette a really unique choice.  Kind of a home away from home, and that's our goal," says Jody Ferguson, part owner of Social.

Social specializes in classic comfort food, an extensive selection of both draught and bottled beer, artisan crafted cocktails, and good old fashion southern hospitality.  The new restaurant will give the city of Lafayette a unique city vibe with a southern twist we have yet to experience.
