Senators Fred Mills and Terry Landry took time out of their busy schedules to speak to members of the League of Women Voters at SLCC for an educational seminar on the legislative process.  This timely discussion of the ends and outs of the legislative process is important to Senator Mills and Landry with the legislative session coming up on April 8.  They want people to know how to navigate the legislative internet and track bills being discussed throughout the session.  Senator Mills talks about what he is looking forward to discussing in this next session.

"In the legislative session I think the main thing I'm looking forward to discussions is just the budget and the budget process and where do we go from here from a fiscal matter cause it's a fiscal session, and that's really important," says Senator Mills.

Senator Mills and Landry said with the major changes Governor Jindal is bringing to the table.  It is important for everyone to know what is going on during the session, and you can track all of it by going to the website
