A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the death of a Louisiana rapper, officials say.

The Winnfield Police Department announced on Monday, July 8 that Edrick O. Stewart, 21, of Monroe, has been charged with Manslaughter in connection to the murder of Addarren Ross, aka Lil Snupe. They have not released any details at this time as to how he is connected.

Ross was found shot twice in the torso on Thursday, June 20. The two were allegedly engaged in an altercation over a video game prior to the shooting.

The primary suspect in the case, Tony Holden, 36, was quickly identified as a suspect following the discovery of Ross’ body on June 20. After several days he turned himself in to authorities.

Holden was charged with First Degree Murder, Armed Robbery and Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. His bond was set at $2 million.

This is the first homicide investigation in Winnfield since January 2012.

Ross got his big break in 2012 when he was signed to the label Dream Chasers Records by Meek Mill. He’s originally from Jonesboro, La, which is located in Jackson Parish.
