Probation violator arrested on additional drug charges for meth lab

Officers were requested to assist the Louisiana Probation and Parole Office in apprehending Kelsey Mire, who was meeting her mother at the Piggly Wiggly.

Mire had violated her probation and had since been wanted by P&PO since July of 2013.

Once officers made contact with Mire and she was arrested, the conducted a search of the vehicle.

Officers found a blue, cloth bag containing an inactive methamphetamine laboratory in the back of the vehicle.

HazMat and Scott Fire Department responded, deemed the laboratory safe, and tested positive residue and substance for methamphetamine.

Mire was taken into custody by Probation and Parole Officers and charged accordingly.
