Police looking for man wanted for second degree murder

The police are looking for a man wanted for second degree murder.
 

The Lafayette Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Violent Offender Task Force are looking for Carl J. Phillips.
Police say Phillips shot someone in the chest on the 600 block of Goldman Street back in July then drove off in a gold colored vehicle.

 The person later died at the hospital. Police say Phillips should be considered armed and dangerous.
