Plaquemine man arrested for shooting at Iberville nightclub

A man was arrested for a shooting that happened on over the weekend at a night club located in Iberville.

The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident occurred on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Kitty & Bo’s Club located on Hwy 1. We’re told a man was shot more than once. He was taken to a hospital in Baton Rouge for treatment.

Working off of tips provided by witness statements, deputies arrested Shelton Williams, 19, of Plaquemine. He was charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder, Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm on a Premise of an Alcohol Beverage Outlet.
