Peanut butter recall expands to Louisiana

A peanut butter recall is expanding to additional products and states, including Louisiana.

Sunland Incorporated is now recalling 76 different types of peanut butter and almond butter. This comes after one of its products was linked to a salmonella outbreak at Trader Joe's Grocery stores.

Trader Joe's creamy salted Valencia peanut butter was linked to 29 salmonella cases in 18 states. Sunland manufactures the retailer's brand of peanut butter.

The additional recalls are being done as a precaution because those products were manufactured with the same equipment as the Trader Joe's product.

Some of the recalled peanut butters are sold in Louisiana stores.
