Of course we can't tell you where, but we can tell you when.  The Lafayette Police Department is conducting on owi checkpoint within the city of Lafayette tomorrow night.   The checkpoint will be between the hours of 9 pm and 3 am, looking for any kind of impaired driver.

"We are a family oriented community, and you don't know who it is when you're getting into a crash, who it is that your going to get in a crash with and no one wants that on their conscience," says Corporal Nicole Benoit, Lafayette Police.

Officers working the checkpoint will respond with zero tolerance to those drivers found to be under the influence.  Designate a driver if you intend to "drink and drive," not doing so will result in costly fines and serious jail time.
