OPELOUSAS, LA (KADN) — Opelousas Chief of Police Perry Gallow has formally announced that he will seek a third term as Chief of Police for the City of Opelousas this coming November.
Gallow has served as Opelousas Police Chief for more than seven years.
In a statement released this week, Gallow says:
“The responsibility of keeping law and order in our city is one that I take extremely serious. I enjoy what I do and I am very grateful for the vote of confidence shown to me by you, the citizens, over the past 2 elections. However, I have not done it alone, the men and women of OPD as well as the support staff has worked very hard and often times, under adverse conditions and for that I owe them much gratitude.”
