BATON ROUGE, LA — Members of the Baton Rouge Police Department Swat team took a subject in custody for a murder that occurred in New Orleans.

On Tuesday, August 21, Baton Rouge CrimeStoppers received information in relation to the location of a suspect who is wanted for a murder in New Orleans.

Members of the BRPD Swat team responded to a home in the 16000 block of Hamilton Ave.

Travis Peters, 30, was taken into custody and booked into EBRSO Parish Prison as a fugitive for New Orleans PD.
