New Iberia man arrested for Baton Rouge robbery

A suspect has been arrested for a armed robbery that took place in Baton Rouge in January.

On August 22, detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office were notified by members of the Marshal’s Taskforce that Mouises Johnson, 23, was wanted for an armed robbery which occurred in Baton Rouge January 26, 2012.

Detectives were able to locate Johnson at an apartment in the 1700 block of Anderson Street in New Iberia.

Johnson was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the United States Marshals Office. Johnson was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail where he is awaiting extradition.
