There is new information out of the Department Of Health And Hospitals today.
More cases of West Nile have been reported across the state.
29 cases have been reported in the last week.
That includes one in East Baton Rouge Parish and another in East Feliciana.
They are the neuroinvasive or the most severe form of West Nile.
This year across the state about 300 people have been infected with West Nile and 11 people died.
DHH says it's still critical to take precautions against the disease when you're outside.
