UPDATED -- Family members said Tony Pollard,16, has called his grandfather to say he is okay.

But his grandpa, Frank Frye, is still very concerned about Tony.

Tony has been on the run ever since he walked off school property two Fridays ago.

Last Friday night Tony's grandpa was hoping he would come home.

"It's important that we get you back Tony so that we can keep you on the right road buddy. And Tony is you're watching this I've got some good news for you. We received your letter of acceptance for the Youth Challenge Program," said Frye.

If anyone can help find Tony Pollard, please contact the Lafayette Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers at 232-tips.

 

Original Story -- Frank Frye is hoping the public can help him find his missing grandson, Tony Pollard.

Pollard is fifteen years old.

The Lafayette Sheriff's Office said Pollard is an endangered runaway.

Pollard was last seen leaving his school on Mudd Street near Moss on foot.

"I'm Frank Frye and I am looking for my grandson. His name is Tony Pollard, if anyone out there knows where Tony is at contact us. And Tony if you're watching this, I've got some good news for you. We received your letter of acceptance in the Youth Challenge Program. Please give us a call. We miss you a lot buddy," pleaded Frye.

If anyone has seen Tony Pollard, please contact the Lafayette Sheriff's Office so they can help reunite Pollard with his family.
