Man arrested for second time in less than two months on sexual charges involving minors aged 8,10

A Lake Charles man has been arrested on sexual charges involving juveniles for the second time in less than two months. Although the arrests are for separate cases and alleged victims, the abuse for both occurred prior to his first arrest.

On September 10, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose Mario Rosales. He was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Rape.

CPSO detectives received a complaint regarding Rosales sexually abusing a female family member in 2012 on numerous occasions for over 9 months when the victim was only 10-years-old.

Detectives also learned Rosales would place his hand over the victim’s mouth so she could not scream.

Judge Clayton Davis set his bond at $500,000.

Rosales was previously arrested on July 23 after an investigation revealed in 2012 he had inappropriate sexual contact with another female family member on numerous occasions when the girl was 8-years-old. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with of 2 counts of sexual battery and released on a $30,000 bond.
