Akeam Daniels now in custody

Lafayette, LA (KADN) — Akeam Daniels has turned himself into the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Department as of last night around 8:30 pm.  Daniels has been wanted for outstanding warrants for 2nd Degree Aggravated Battery, where he shot and injured his eight year old brother, Illegal Use of a Fire Arm, and Criminal Damage to Property.  Witnesses and neighbors did say that the shooting was accidental.  Deputies with Iberia Parish Sheriff's Department are still investigating.
