The next meeting of the Louisiana Shrimp Task Force will be held Monday, September 28, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. at LDWF Headquarters located at 2000 Quail Drive in the Louisiana Room. The agenda for Monday’s meeting is as follows:

A downtown Lafayette landmark will be gone before the end of the year.
The old Federal Courthouse sits at the corner of East Main Street and Fefferson.
The building used to be Lafayette's main post office, but has been vacant for some time.
The UL Ragin' Cajuns fell short this weekend to the LSU Tigers.
UL players and coaches say they were disappointed with the 31-3 loss against the Tigers.
They say, chalk it up to missed opportunities and poor execution.
