ILandMan, a local oil and gas software company, is helping out our local economy in a big way.  Not only does the company look to hire home-grown software developers, with the software constantly changing the company doubles every year in it's capabilities.  Lafayette's manufacturing and software development companies are creating the booming oil and gas industry right now in the area.

"We are leaders in software development right here in Lafayette, my company, our company plus other companies here in town and that's an amazing thing.  We are doing things that nobody else in the United States is doing right here," says Timothy Supple, President and Owner of ILandMan.

Because of the high demand, companies are continuing to expand their base of employment which will continue to create jobs in our community.  Supple sees more drilling in south Louisiana within the next couple of years making the local oil and gas industry continue to get bigger and better.
