Lafayette Police are looking for bank robbery suspect

Lafayette police responded to a bank located in the 2400 block of West Pinhook Road in reference to a bank robbery on November 8, at 2 p.m. According to employees, a black male entered the establishment and produced a written note demanding money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and left the establishment. Detectives have identified the suspect, and a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Tre Lamar Bookard, 20, of Lafayette, La.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bookard to contact the US Marshall’s Task Force at 337-281-8236.
