The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible attempted abduction of a Lafayette Parish School student at a bus stop.
The sheriff's office says it happened yesterday morning around 8:00 am.
We are told a 14 year old boy was waiting for his school bus when a man approached him and tried to convince the teen to get into his car.

The Sheriff's department says as more facts have come to light in this case 
the incident was not as serious as initially thought.
However it should serve as a reminder to parents and kids.
