LAFAYETTE, LA (KADN) — The Louisiana Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit announced that a Lafayette man has been arrested and charged with distributing pornography involving juveniles.
Wayne Weilbacher, 51, was arrested today as part of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office, Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Weilbacher was booked into the Lafayette Parish Prison without incident. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
