Nurse Practitioner, Deedra Harrington, saved a man's life on the track at Girard Park.

Gary Dodson, 65, had been jogging at the park and suddenly collapsed.

Deedra performed CPR until an ambulance arrived.

Dodson had a major heart attack and Deedra saved his life.

That is why she wants everyone to learn CPR.

"Each year you need to go and relearn those techniques because you might not use it for three or four years. But if you have gone every year it's a reenforcement of what you're going to learn, basic life supporting techniques," said Deedra.

Dodson is doing well.

Dodson just celebrated his 66th birthday and said life is good thanks to Deedra.
