Kitten rescued from basement wall

Wednesday, September 19, 2012 - 5:40pm

A homeowner in Portland, Oregon heard a kitten crying for help through the basement wall Sunday night and then called for help too.
Portland fire and rescue crews came out with shovels, a plumbing company's tiny camera, and other equipment to rescue the little feline.

After six hours, their hard work paid off and they finally managed to get the kitten out of the drain pipe.
Firefighters took the kitten to the fire station for the night and named it "Champ."
