Iberia Parish - The last remaining suspect in a home invasion crime from May 15 is now in custody after being arrested on Wednesday in Iberia Parish.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Captain Megan Vizena said, “On Wednesday, June 11, 2014, members of the US Marshals Office, Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office and Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Jessica Rose-Puckett, age 26, without incident.”
“Rose-Puckett’s arrest stems from a home invasion that occurred in St. Landry Parish on May 15, 2014. Rose-Puckett was the last remaining suspect in this case, four other arrests have been made,” according to Captain Megan Vizena.
“Successful law-enforcement requires a joint effort from multiple law enforcement agencies. This arrest is a good example of that. We were very fortunate to have had assistance from the US Marshals Office in this case. They are known for targeting subjects who are wanted for violent crimes and their credible experience is exactly what we needed to capture Rose-Puckett,” Vizena added.
Rose-Puckett is being held at the St. Landry Parish Jail facing charges of home invasion, armed robbery, false imprisonment with a firearm, attempted first degree murder and criminal conspiracy. Her bond is set at $750,000.
