Yestrday officials said Don Cornelius died from a self inflicted gun shot wound.
The deadly shooting happened around 4:00 am yesterday morning at his home in California.
Cornelius made a name for himself with the creation of the show, Soul Train, in 1971.
Cornelius was seventy five years old.
