Louis Landry, 52, pleaded guilty to knowingly conducting an illegal duck hunt last year in August.
A federal judge has ordered that Landry pay a $5,000 fine and Landry will also be on probation for the next five years.
Sources said Landry admitted to helping his clients with illegal duck hunts.
Landry's clients were actually undercover federal agents.
