The Acadiana Cane Cutter are back in town for a big weekend at Fabacher Field taking on the Woodlands Strykers on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be a jam-packed evening including Lyle Mouton Bobble Head Night as well as Bike Night.

The first 400 fans in paid attendance will receive a Lyle Mouton bobble head doll and the first 100 fans 21 and over will receive a shot glass. In attendance will be Lafayette's home grown baseball and basketball star Lyle Mouton, who played for the STM Cougars, LSU Tigers, and the Chicago White Sox.

As we always do, it's time to get to know your Acadiana Cane Cutters and today we get to hear from the man who makes the team tick, Cane Cutter's Head Coach Lonny Landry:

"Some of the nations top collegiate athletes come in to keep refining their skills over the summer. They play with wood bats and pitching is pretty good in this league." said Landry.

"I like my team a lot. Our pitching staff has really been our strong hold. After our first road trip I knew we had a good squad. They gelled really quick, which is always important in summer ball."

Gates will open up at 5:30pm on Saturday and of course make sure to stick around after the contest for the post game firework show.
